About Me
When I was a little girl growing up in rural South Carolina, in the summers I'd walk barefoot down a dirt road each week to catch the Bookmobile at its stop beside Carraway's on Highway 378. That's how my love of books began. The land of stories has always been my favorite place to escape, rest, learn, and explore. I've spent my whole life getting lost in the ones I read, watch, hear, and feel all around me. Later in life, I discovered the joy of developing the long-simmering stories I dream up myself, of shaping characters and themes and settings and ideas into something cohesive. It's my favorite way to get at the true things in life...
And we all love a good story, don't we?
